Undated memoirs of Carl E. Pedersen dealing with approximately the first thirty years of his life, 1880-1915, including his childhood in Denmark, experiences as a sailor in Northern Europe, voyages between ports in South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania, his experiences on ships around the Pecific Ocean, (including four months on Nanoumea in the Ellice Islands), and ending shortly after his marriage.
